Fat Burrito in Crown Point

It was very good and fulfilling especially for the price. They had good food and it was quick to get out. A large menu choice and service was good.

Ordered the steak burrito, with added guacamole inside. Too salty in my view. Salsa was decent and the chips were okay. Service was good.

As a Texas transplant, I wasn't expecting much from this little place, but I was pleasantly surprised. One of the few places around here where the beans and rice were actually good, and not just an afterthought. Carne asada was tender and flavorful. I love a Mexican breakfast, and was happy they had a good huevos Mexicana. This spot definitely goes into the rotation for both breakfast and dinner.

Seems like half of the time my steak burrito is overcooked. I've stopped ordering but the family keeps going.

Good service, friendly staff and tasty food. Enjoyed the steak tacos and pork tamales. Fresh guacamole was fantastic.

Great food and prices! If you want more spicy salsa just ask for it. They just put the basics out. Great service also!

Place is well run with Great food. I love the pork Fat Burrito with green sauce. Super sized Burrito I usually save half for another meal.

Fat burrito has amazing food at a crazy low price. I can’t speak highly enough about the food honestly! The only issue is that I always order carry out and every time I order I am on hold for 20+ minutes. Sometimes they answer right away and immediately tell you “one minute and I’ll get back to you” then set the phone down and never pick it up again. The food is amazing, customer service in store is good, I really think they just need more staff for how busy they are. I wish I could give 5 stars because the food is amazing!

We have been going there for years now and tonight was the worst food and service we have ever had. We asked 6 times for chips and salsa after arriving. Waited 30 minutes just for our order to be taken and then it came to us wrong. We would ask for sour cream and or redills on dri ks, wait anther 10 minutes and have to chase waitress down to remind her. And she still forgot till we asked again. Not to even mention how cooks were goofing around in kitchen instead of cooking. Not sure if we will ever return.

There's a reason this authentic Mexican restaurant is called this! The burritos are huge! More than a meal, especially when served w rice & beans. Great steak tacos and love their chips w their homemade salsa and guacamole! The dine in area has been expanded and remodeled, it's very nice & comfortable. Great for the whole family as a party of ten, or even just a party of two. Carry outs available. Call ahead and your food will be ready!

My boyfriend and I had lunch here today, and let me tell you this is one of my top favorite places to eat now (and we are both foodies). It is a small place with only a few tables, so the service is incredibly fast (way faster than I would've imagined) and the food is the best Mexican I have ever had. The salsa is mild, but very fresh. I feel that too often, most restaurants mask flavor with heat, and that is not the case with this place. My boyfriend got a steak burrito dinner and I got a steak torta dinner with horchata. The horchata is authentic and sweet, while the meat was incredibly flavorful in both meals. Our waiter was pleasant and quick to refill our waters and salsa when we needed more. The entire place was very clean as well. I could not ask for better service and better authentic Hispanic food; I will be recommending this little hole in the wall to all my friends and family.

If you are seeking authentic mexican food this place is phenomenal! Always busy and yet we still get great service and great food!!

Burrito was huge. Paid 14 bucks for the dinner but had lunch the next day.

I'm 38 and from the Chicago area. I ate at many Mexican restaurants. I promise, by far, Fat Burrito is the best. Food bursting with favor, seasoned just right, and the grade of meat is awesome. Just had a Burrito. 😮😁delicious. Great staff to top their perfection off👍🏾👍🏾

Today was my first time eating here and literally had the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life lol. I’ve eaten and worked at multiple Mexican restaurants, but fat burrito is definitely my new favorite! Very nice staff as well

I really enjoyed fat burrito. I just ordered the "normal" burrito and it was big, but it wasn't crazy big like some folks are saying about the monster-sized burrito. Chips and salsa were tasty, too. Try the horchata. It was excellent. Next time I'm back in my hometown, I'll likely drop in again.

I am very hesitant when people tell me to try places out because I am very picky as what is considered to be amazing food but I have to say this place is very, very good. Tastes authentic and homemade and you get a good amount for what you pay for. Everything tastes fresh. Great place for good food and a good price!

This is best restaurant I have ever eaten at. The service was amazing and it’s pretty hard to find food that hits close to home like this place. I eat here like every week and would definitely recommend to people. Also Christian your welcome anyways love this place. Period

Great food! Large portions for very reasonable prices. Dined in and was promptly seated and treated to chips and salsa. I would definitely eat there again. Fried ice cream was huge!
